Determined by its accelerated enrollment, campus growth, and competitiveness in the NCAA Division I Summer League, "Feel the Rumble" was born.
Designed to advance the university's mission while honoring the Mastodon brand, it was rolled out in 2018 across all Purdue University Fort Wayne Athletics programs — most notably both men and women's basketball.
The title was crafted to evoke a sense of tradition while striving for excellence and is both an aspiration and a statement of hard-won identity for Purdue University Fort Wayne.

The success of this campaign hinged not just on the visual impact of its design, but the creative direction of SME's Associate Creative Director, Jason Vogel, as well as the strategic guidance and influence of Managing Director, Conor O'Flaherty, and Brand Strategist, Jonathan Hans.​​​​​​​
